Second Annual Wine & Wilderness

The Second Annual Wine & Wilderness fundraiser for the Cache Creek Conservancy is scheduled for 5-8 p.m., Saturday, April 29, 2017, at the Cache Creek Nature Preserve, 34199 County Road 20, Woodland.

Enjoy the unique experience of sampling wines and food while enjoying the scenery at the Nature Preserve. The Nature Preserve showcases some of the remaining wildlands along the creek and features Yolo County wineries, catered hors d’oeuvres, and classical music befitting the serene environment.  Also available to guests will be guided tours of the Nature Preserve, demonstrations of the Cache Creek watershed resource model, and an open house of the Visitors Center.

This event helps support the Cache Creek Conservancy’s restoration and educational programming. The 20 year old non-profit organization focuses on restoration and preservation of the lower Cache Creek, manages the Nature Preserve, and provides environmental education to more than 3,000 school-aged children on an annual basis.

Early bird tickets are now available at $40 per person until March 31, 2017. April 1 ticket price is $45 per person if ordered online or $55 at the door.  https://wineandwilderness.eventbrite.com
